Our Nomad Yoga Post Graduate Program is not only for trainees who graduate from the Nomad 200 Hour Teacher Training but for any trainees who have graduated from another 200 hour teacher training course, and are now ready to make the transition from trainee to teacher.
We are excited to offer this opportunity to yoga teacher training course graduates so they can refine, revise and deepen their knowledge by completing tasks that will reinforce and deepen their knowledge of recently completed teacher training material. Our intention is to allow graduates to update and refresh the knowledge and skills already gained as a graduate of a yoga teacher training programs and be ready to start teaching!
Graduates will have the opportunity to work alongside and assist our senior teachers and studio staff by developing their invaluable teaching, adjusting and classroom management skills. Participants will also get a behind the scenes look at the business of yoga with an introduction of how a professional yoga studio runs and develop their customer relationship skills in a supportive environment.

*Price for Non Nomad Yoga graduates: $499
Duration – 1 month (4 weeks)
Trainee will meet with Mentor prior to starting program to discuss what’s involved and expectations from both parties.
1 x reception shifts per week – post grads will assist reception staff the first week. Duties will include but are not limited to – check ins, customer relations and classroom management ensuring studio is clean and tidy, water, towels are available etc and supporting cafe staff.
Support mentor teacher doing adjustments/shadow teacher. 1- 2 a week. (Not all teachers are comfortable having someone else give adjustments in their class). These classes will be assigned to you at the beginning of each week.
Teach 1 Hatha Yoga class per week – Donation based class (not paid)
Post grads are to sit in on 2 classes a week (min) and take notes notes on anything & everything, must include but are not limited to things such as: sequences, cues, modifications, music. Try to observe a variety of different teachers, around 3-5 different instructors. (Must be a different teacher each class whenever possible.)
Prepare 4 written sequences with different themes/purpose plus cues for mentor to evaluate and give feedback (1 per week).
Trainees must complete all tasks in the work book by the end of the program.
Trainees must attend weekly meetings with mentors.
